Mother’s Canyon

Next up, Mother’s Canyon is a natural course on Planet Wisp, with the idea being a valley similar to the Grand Canyon. I aimed for a more aggressive song, even in the light and refreshing environment, to match the wild course that takes advantage of natural topography such as rivers, cliffs, and huge waterfalls. This is one of my personal favorites of all the original songs in this game. By the way, Alexander, who was in charge of the saxophone for these first two tracks, was also a guest member of a band playing Sonic-related songs during Comic Con 2017 in San Diego, on the American West Coast. It’s a lot of fun when a chance encounter can lead to the next big thing.
